20 Summer Crafts. Perfect for the "Un-Crafty" Mom!

If you're looking for fun and easy crafts to do with your kids this summer, here's a few great ideas! We've created quite a few of these and the results are sure to bring a smile to your their face.

Rag Ribbon Flip Flops

This is a quick and easy craft for even little kids! If they are able to tie a knot they can easily help! If you use fabric, ribbons or both! Don't be afraid to mix and match patterns!


  • Flip Flops

  • Ruller

  • Fabric or ribbon. You will need about 25 pieces of ribbon per flip flop. Cut 6" long and 1" wide.

Tie ribbons in a knot around straps. Leave around 1 to 2 inches of the strap showing. Push ribbon forward toward the front of the flip flop. Trim edges of ribbon to the desired length.

Outdoor Mud Kitchen.

These painted rocks will offer fun imaginative play for kids while they are outside getting fresh air and soaking up the sunshine.

  • Faux or Real Flowers

Measure the wire to the circumstance of your child's head. Make sure the ends of the wire are wrapped so there are not sharp areas. Begin taping your flowers to the wire. Cut long pieces of florists tape and use it to add several flowers one after the other instead of using individual pieces for each flower. Your crown will be stronger and the flowers will stay in place better this way.
